Dr. Habermehl (“Dr. Dee”) earned her medical degree at New York University. She then completed an internship at Brown University, followed by a residency at Stanford University, in Palo Alto, California. She also earned her MBA with a Healthcare Focus at Yale University School of Management.
Dr. Habermehl held an academic appointment as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where she instructed medical students and residents. She also performed laboratory and clinical research with her work being published nationally in peer reviewed medical journals. She has also presented her work at international academic meetings, including a presentation on the effects of estrogen on the blood vessels of postmenopausal women and she continues to be actively involved in research.
Dr. Habermehl is Board Certified in Addiction Medicine as well as Gynecology and Obstetrics and is a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
